Rachel Bedford joined the Knight Campus in January of 2025. She earned her PhD at the University of Oregon, where her research focused on understanding the development of the neuromuscular system. During her postdoctoral training, she investigated mechanisms underlying motoneuron death, developed innovative genetic tools, and engaged in strategic science communication to make complex research accessible.
