Kaitlin Yarrington

Postdoctoral Scholar, Benoit Lab

Kaitlin Yarrington is a postdoctoral scholar in the labs of Danielle Benoit and Karen Guillemin. Yarrington graduated with her PhD from the University of Iowa in 2024, where she investigated how the bacterial pathogen Pseudomonas aeruginosa can sense peptides secreted by other bacterial species and move towards them. Currently, Yarrington’s work in the Benoit and Guillemin labs is focused on uncovering interactions between oral microbes, host and tumor cells that contribute to colon cancer progression.
