Raquel Simão Gurge is the BioFoundry Facility Engineer/Manager at the Knight Campus. She has extensive experience managing core facilities and supporting researchers from experimental design through data analysis. Raquel earned her degree in Biotechnology from UNESP, her M.S. in Immunology from UNIFESP, and her Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from USP in Brazil. Her expertise includes flow cytometry, microscopy, ELISA, HPLC, LC/MS, and cell culture, with research interests in immunology, parasitic disease biology, and drug target discovery.
