Hope Healey is a bioinformatics lecturer for the Bioinformatics and Genomics program within the Knight Campus Graduate Internship Program. She joined the Knight Campus in January 2025.
Healey received her PhD in biology from the University of Oregon in September 2024, where she focused on the evolution and development of the unique heads of syngnathid fishes in Bill Cresko's lab. She received her bachelor's degree in zoology from Michigan State University in December 2018, where she worked with on electric fish genetics in Jason Gallant's lab and zooplankton ecology in Scott Peacor's lab.
