Colin Bredenberg is an assistant professor of neuroengineering in the Department of Bioengineering at the Knight Campus. He studies learning and synaptic plasticity in the brain from a computational perspective, using machine learning data analysis techniques and theoretical principles. Prior to joining the Knight Campus, Bredenberg was a postdoctoral researcher at Mila - Quebec AI Institute. He completed a bachelor's degree in neuroscience and mathematical biology from the University of Pittsburgh, and earned his doctorate in neural science from New York University.
