The Knight Campus is accepting applications for its open research pool. Positions may include research assistants (also known as technicians), research associates, and research engineers. Research assistants typically work under the direction of a Principal Investigator, while research associates and engineers carry out projects with more independence. Research engineers may also take on technical responsibilities, such as supporting specialized equipment or facilities.

This full-time, funding-contingent position offers an opportunity to enhance your professional skills and research independence while conducting laboratory research, quantitative analysis, preparing manuscripts and grant applications, and presenting findings to internal and external audiences. The Knight Campus is seeking qualified applicants for its open ProTem Instructor/Lecturer pool. Knight Campus Instructors/Lecturers develop innovative and multidisciplinary educational materials with the goal of preparing graduate students for entry-level positions in academic, industry, and government labs. Those who enjoy teaching students topics that encompass both the life sciences and materials sciences are encouraged to apply. Senior Associate Vice President for Knight Campus Academics and Research
This position is the second in command to the Vice President for all research and academic matters at the Knight Campus. It is responsible for the development and implementation of an overall Knight Campus training and professional development plan and has a leading role in the development of degree-granting academic programs. The position has supervisory responsibility for the administrative leads for existing degree-granting graduate programs. The position has financial authority for accounts related to academic programming, research core facilities located in the Knight Campus, and large, shared equipment refresh programs. The position is the lead in developing and maintaining a laboratory safety culture throughout the facilities. The position will provide leadership and representation of Knight Campus initiatives and programs within the University and externally as requested by the Vice President/Executive Director.
