Hildegard Lamfrom Scholars Program
The Hildegard Lamfrom Scholars program supported by the generous gift from the Boyle family, and is named after Hildegard Lamform PhD, a pioneer in protein biology. This program currently supports faculty and graduate researchers using data science across the University of Oregon and Oregon Health Sciences University, and will expand to include postdoctoral and undergraduate researchers in the future.

Meet Hildegard Lamfrom, PhD
The Hildegard Lamfrom Scholars Program, created by Tim and Mary Boyle to honor pioneering molecular biologist Hildegard Lamfrom, supports collaborative biomedical data science research between UO and OHSU. Since its launch, it has supported 10 graduate scholars and two endowed professorships, with plans to expand to undergraduates and postdoctoral fellows, continuing Lamfrom’s legacy of bold scientific discovery.
