It's that time of year when prospective students who have been offered admission into KCGIP get the opportunity to visit the Knight Campus.

KCGIP students have the opportunity to build professional skills throughout their time in the program by participating in coursework, workshops, and paid mentor-mentee programs. Meet the KCGIP students who are serving as mentors for the next generation of scientists and engineers. Mentors received formal training from program staff and are coached throughout the process, helping them develop their leadership skills.

On Saturday, November 2, 2024, the Knight Campus and UO STEM CORE hosted the 3rd Annual Oregon Pathways to Industry Research Careers (OPRIC) Internfest, a dynamic event designed to connect community college and UO-transfer students with faculty, staff, and industry professionals. During an Aug. 26 visit to the UO, Panchanathan, delivered a talk in the Beetham Family Seminar Room, toured the Knight Campus and met with representatives from the Department of Bioengineering and the Knight Campus Graduate Internship Program.
