Nick Willett, associate professor of bioengineering at the Phil and Penny Knight Campus for Accelerating Scientific Impact, was recognized as a “Faculty Star” during the University of Oregon’s home football game against Oregon State on September 20, 2025. The Faculty Stars program, coordinated by the Office of the Provost, recognizes UO faculty and staff for their contributions to teaching, research, and service. Willett was invited to join President Karl Scholz and other honorees in the presidential suite for the game and was featured on the Autzen Stadium Jumbotron.
