Join the Guldberg Lab

We are seeking motivated scientists and engineers to join our team! Please direct general inquiries to ortholab@uoregon.edu.

Graduate Students

UO graduate students should apply for admission to the joint OSU/UO Bioengineering program. We also admit students through the Biology, Chemistry, and Human Physiology departments. Contact Dr. Guldberg to discuss rotation projects and other research opportunities. OHSU students should apply through the Department of Biomedical Engineering.

Postdoctoral Scholars

Prospective post-doctoral scholars should contact Dr. Guldberg with their CV/resume, research interests, and contact information.

Undergraduate Students

Undergraduate students interested in working in the lab should plan to commit to at least 3 quarters of part-time research (~10 hours/week) and 1 summer of full-time research (40 hours/week). Students should contact Kimberly Jones with their CV/resume and research interests. The Knight Campus Undergraduate Scholars Program provides UO students with funding to conduct research for a full year in a Knight Campus-affiliated lab. Please be aware that undergraduates are added on a rolling, as needed basis.

The Guldberg Lab

In 2020, the Guldberg Lab relocated to the University of Oregon's Phil and Penny Knight Campus for Accelerating Scientific Impact. Based in the Department of Bioengineering in Eugene, Oregon, the Guldberg Lab explores musculoskeletal regenerative engineering for performance, and for conditions like osteoarthritis and trauma.
