Jonathan Dorogin a PhD Candidate in the Knight Campus Department of Bioengineering successfully defended his dissertation. His presentation, “Engineering Affibody-Functionalized Hydrogels for Controlled Dual Release of Bone Morphogenic Protein-2 and Interleukin-4” focused on efforts to develop a localized protein delivery system to independently control the release of multiple proteins using engineered affinity interactions for improved bone healing. Since he arrived at the Knight Campus in the fall of 2020, Jonathan has been, "a leader on campus and in the lab," says his advisor, Marian Hettiaratchi. Congratulations, Jonathan!
