Apply for the Workshop

The CBDS Single Cell RNA-seq Data Analysis Workshop will occur from June 9-12. This workshop is intended for graduate students and postdoctoral scholars who are planning, or who have recently embarked upon, studies that involve Single Cell RNA-seq data. This workshop will begin by using a common dataset, and then provide opportunity for attendees to analyze their own single cell data should they have it. Space will be limited for this workshop, so if you would like to attend, please apply by Friday, May 8th, 2026. Selected participants will be notified in mid-late May.

Preliminary Schedule

Day 0: Introduction to computational foundations and tools, intended for beginners (Optional, Half-Day)

Day 1: Experimental design, and introduction to Seurat using a common dataset (Full-Day)

Day 2: Complete work-through of Seurat using a common dataset, and begin using Seurat with individual dataset (Full-Day)

Day 3: Complete work-through of Seurat with individual dataset, and information on other Single Cell RNA-seq analysis approaches/tools (Half-Day, lunch provided)
