excalibier Spring 2025

Name of Beer: "Excalibier"

Date Brewed: 5/9/2025

Brew Team: Daela Montgomery, Miles Griffin, Keila Barton

Style: Kuetebier/ IBU 37/ ABV 5.1%/ 7 SRM

Inspiration:  A smoky medieval beer that is the historic predecessor to many German beers like Kolsch and Altbier

Sensory Description: Malt forward in caramel sweetness, subtle smoky quality

Kornøl Spring

Name of Beer: "Kascadian Kornøl"

Date Brewed: 5/9/2025

Brew Team: Avery Scott-Fudge, Hailey Sandler, Valentin Tiburcio

Style: Norwegian Raw Ale/ IBU 6/ ABV 7.7%/ 5.4 SRM

Inspiration:  Kornøl is a traditional Norwegian farmhouse ale, raw (unboiled) and rustic, brewed with kveik yeast to create a uniquely smooth and warming experience

Sensory Description: A PNW twist on an ancient beer with Oregon Douglas fir branches and tips for a citrusy aroma/flavor. Warming and sweet.

Chicha Spring 2025

Name of Beer: "Cumbia de la Chicha"

Date Brewed: 5/9/2025

Brew Team: Kieran Galvin, Bailey Cain, Claire Schwanauer

Style: Chicha/ IBU 0/ ABV 4.24%/ 4 SRM 

Inspiration:  Chicha is a traditional Latin American corn beer, naturally fermented and rich with earthy, sweet, and tangy flavors that reflect deep cultural roots and communal craftsmanship.

Sensory Description: Floral and Herbal aroma from Ecuadorian horchata herb blend, pink in color, slightly tart, and refreshing

Saison Spring 2025

Name of Beer: "Saison du Hutch"

Brew Team: Ariel Eisen, Ethan Smillow, John Schwindt, Henry Wright

Style: Saison/ IBU 29/ ABV 5.6% / 8 SRM

Inspiration:  A light refreshing and crisp Farmhouse beer

Sensory Description: Fruity, buscuity, balanced spicy and sweet, and crisp

Pale Ale Spring 2025

Name of Beer: "Pale Ale"

Date Brewed: 5/3/2025

Brew Team: Garett Black, Ryan Cox, Mauricio Sola Barria

Style: Pale Pale/ IBU 45/ ABV 5.5%/ 7 SRM

Inspiration:  The traditional American Pale Ale that started the craft beer boom in the US with a new age hop twist

Sensory Description: Balanced malty and hoppy aroma (not too bitter), light citrus aroma

Style: Berliner Weisse/ IBU 5/ ABV 3.8%/ 3 SRM

Inspiration:  A chose your flavor adventure of the Berliner Weisse red (raspberry) or green (woodruff)?

Sensory Description: Slightly tart, fruity, light bodied, and refreshing

Inspiration:  Maple syrup, glazed donuts, pralines

Sensory Description Sweet aromatic maple with a hint of nuttiness! Flavors of maple syrup and fluffy donut balanced with the bitterness of chocolate malt and subtle hops!

Sensory Description: Rich flavors of baker’s chocolate, roasted coffee, and a hint of toast, with a semi-sweet finish. Full-bodied and smooth.
