The BioFoundry has acquired two new tools from CellScale, permitting mechanical testing in aqueous environments. The CellScale MicroTester (shown left) enables high-resolution mechanical testing of soft and delicate materials, providing sensitive low-force measurements suitable for biologically relevant samples. The CellScale UniVert system supports versatile mechanical testing across a broader force range, enabling analysis of both soft and semi-rigid biomaterials.
