After a storied academic presence at the University of Oregon spanning more than two decades, the former Bioinformatics and Genomics Master’s Program and Master’s Industrial Internship Program have united under one umbrella: The Knight Campus Graduate Internship Program.
MKS Instruments has committed a total of $50,000 over the next 5 years to support Inclusion & Diversity Scholarships within the Knight Campus Graduate Internship Program. The scholarship fund was initially launched in 2017, alongside a larger campaign to improve all elements of diversity, equity and inclusion within the program. With the first phase (2017-2022) of scholarships nearing an end, the gift from MKS Instruments and a $100,000 commitment from the master’s program ensures students will continue to have access to DEI-centered scholarships.
