Marian Hettiaratchi, Ph.D., was recently promoted to Associate Professor with indefinite tenure in the Department of Bioengineering. She officially joined the Knight Campus in January 2020.

Her lab focuses on developing protein delivery systems for regenerative medicine, combining protein engineering, polymer chemistry, and computational modeling to create clinically relevant biomaterials.

This milestone recognizes her outstanding contributions to research, teaching, and service, as well as her continued impact on the field and the academic community.
