Researchers in the Bowerman Sports Science Center affiliated with the Wu Tsai Human Performance Alliance at Oregon are seeking tendinopathic participants, as well as control group subjects, for a study on the relationship between Achilles tendon loading and fluid transport.
Interested subjects who meet the qualifying conditions (see below) can contact Jarod Forer at jforer@uoregon.edu. Those who who have no history of Achilles tendon rupture but have had Achilles tendon pain or tenderness for at least 4 weeks should use the subject line: “Interest in Tendinopathy Study.” Those who have no history of Achilles tendon rupture and have no history of or current Achilles tendon injury/disease should use the subject line: "Interest in Control Study." (NOTE: Control group subjects will be selected only if they meet qualifying conditions and are the same age/sex as one of the selected tendinopathic participants.
