Students from the Brewing Innovation (BRIN) minor program put their craft to the test this week at Eugene Beer Week, an annual celebration highlighting the area’s beer culture through tastings, brewer's dinners, special bottle releases, and beer festival.

Students from the program's second cohort contributed three original brews to the event during their capstone showcase event hosted by Claim 52 brewing. The beers featured were All Season (PNW inspired Kolsch), Spritz Appeal (Aperol/Campari spritz inspired rice lager), and Dirty Birdie (Arnold Palmer inspired ale).

"It is great to celebrate the students' accomplishments and share their innovative capstone projects for with the Eugene community," says Lindsey Rubottom, Brewing Innovation Instructor and Lab Manager.
