During this time of year, prospective students who have been offered admission into KCGIP get the opportunity to visit the University of Oregon and the Knight Campus. Knight Campus community members can expect to see both small and large groups touring our state-of-the-art facilities, meeting faculty and staff, and discovering all Eugene has to offer. These visits are an integral part of the admission process, helping students decide if this is the right fit for their graduate studies.
Students who don’t visit campus receive a gift box, which includes locally grown hazelnuts, coffee, Euphoria Chocolate, and tea – giving them a little taste of Oregon.
KCGIP is aiming to welcome 95 talented new students into the fold, who will start coursework this June.
"If you see visiting students in the labs or halls of the Knight Campus, take a moment to say hello," said Betsy Tanenbaum, associate director of student success and alumni engagement at the KCGIP. "Your welcoming presence is an important part of helping them envision what it will be like to be a part of this community."
